Specializing in classic Chinese fare, this neighborhood gem offers an extensive menu bursting with savory favorites made from fresh ingredients and crafted with care.

The culinary highlight here is unmistakably their signature dishes such as Shrimp Egg Foo Young, with its perfectly crisped, fluffy omelet embracing succulent shrimp and a rich gravy that teases your palate. The Orange Chicken delivers a satisfying balance of sweet and tangy, its golden-crisped chicken bites coated in a luscious, sticky glaze that makes every forkful crave-worthy. Fans of comforting soups will appreciate the Hot & Sour Soup, a harmonious dance of spice and tanginess served piping hot, while the Wonton Soup arrives with tender dumplings nestled on a bed of crispy noodles for delightful texture contrasts.

For those seeking hearty, well-rounded meals, the Pork Fried Rice with Egg and Bean Sprouts and Beef and Broccoli dishes stand out for their fresh, vibrant flavors and satisfying warmth. The Shrimp Broccoli with White Rice offers a simple yet elegant combination of tender shrimp and crisp broccoli bathed in a savory sauce, making it a wholesome choice. While some patrons have remarked on slight price increases and portion sizes—particularly with the chicken wings—the overall sentiment favors Red House II as a reliable spot offering generous portions and great taste at reasonable prices. One visitor highlighted the bourbon chicken as “the best in the city,” praising its flavor and speedy preparation. Another spoke fondly of the generous pasta portions paired with fresh shrimp and chicken. The practical layout, however, includes a restroom located outside and across the street, a minor inconvenience in an otherwise satisfying dining experience.

Whether you’re craving the comforting embrace of a classic bowl of vegetable lo mein, the bold spice of Szechuan roast pork, or the simple pleasure of well-executed fried rice, Red House II promises a genuine taste of Chinese cuisine made accessible and enjoyable for everyone. It's a dependable local hotspot where flavor, value, and warmth come together on every plate.

Prices are still going up. The chicken wings are so small..I ordered 8 wings and plain fried rice and the cost was $18.15. Those wings picture were the biggest ones.

Friend recommended Red House II to have some Chinese food for dinner. Not bad for what it is. I enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The prices were reasonable and had leftover to last for few meals afterwards.

The place is very nice and not expensive. Pasta with shrimp and pasta with chicken are very tasty and large portions. The only minus to the toilet can be accessed across the street from the back side of the restaurant.
